Diving in Face First
Hiveswap was my first professional gig as a technical artist. I had the chance to work with a diverse team across america, every single one working remotely. I was brought onto the project just a few months from release and was thrown deep into development. I spent my first few days learning the entire foundations of what the other talented engineers had laid out for the project. Once I was acclimated to the conditions I was tasked with destroying as many bugs as I could and later on developing rapid prototypes for various mechanics. It was working here I learned the complex nature of nuances of the Unity Canvas UI system.
